3lb Package Bees (QUEENLESS) to begin supply late April 2019* (Season Permitting*). Packages will be have a pheromone strip which replicates a queen for travel purposes. This needs to be removed & destroyed before installing the bees.
Due to the high demand we have now chosen to begin importing packages from Europe instead of battling the elements producing our own stock - however some will still be produced from our own UK stock where necessary.
Ideal way to start beekeeping with top bar hives or even non-standard hives is to purchase a package. We only deal with reputable suppliers within Europe, all packages arrive into the UK with all the correct documentation and health certificates. Packages do not contain wax or frames so no disease can be carried. Simply place or shake pre wetted bee's into your hive with a caged queen or use to top up hives / make up mini nucs. After this leave them for a good 10 days and allow them to build ensuring you are giving them a good feed of sugar syrup to initially establish (we recommend frame feeders). We receive packages from Europe in bulk quantity, please remember we cannot hold these as we can with colonies / nucs. If you cannot collect them they will be offered to others that can. Please be prepared for short notice collection notices, unfortunately we cannot work to personal schedules.
WE MUST REITERATE - It is important that you understand Package Bees are perishable items. We can not import packages in 1's and 2's to suit your diary. The bees will be ready on a certain date and you are EXPECTED to collect within a 48 hour window before the bees begin to perish. Please do not order if you are not able to do this.

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and payment. Only when your deposit is received your order is secured. We will be updating your order progress via email so please be sure to enter a valid email address so we can arrange a collection date suitable for you.
INITIAL PAYMENT IS A NON-RETURNABLE DEPOSIT OF 50% TO SECURE YOUR ORDER - 50% BALANCE PAYABLE ON COLLECTION (CASH / BANK TRANSFER PRIOR).

Terms are 50% with order and the balance in cleared funds in our account not less than 7 days before collection date.
* We cannot offer an exact collection date, please remember that packages are arriving from Europe as and when and we can only be advised of possible dates.

The customer understands that we have a duty by law to notify APHA (Animal and Plant Health Agency) of your purchase under the terms of the Bee Diseases and Pests Control (England) Order 2006, and that our collection and use of this information complies with the terms of the Data Protection Act. If the product you receive is not as described or low quality, the seller promises that you may return it before order completion (when you click ‘Confirm Order Received’ or exceed confirmation timeframe) and receive a full refund. The return shipping fee will be paid by you. Or, you can choose to keep the product and agree the refund amount directly with the seller.
