Next Day Delivery Queens (when ordered before 8am) - Our breeders produce queens using genetic principles. Special breeders of desired lines (Buckfast / Carniolan) are selected for hygienic behaviour from amongst the best breeder colonies; those that have proven to be productive and display all desired characteristics. Queens that are reared from those colonies are instrumentally inseminated with semen from drones from hygienic colonies. To avoid the negative effect of in-breeding, queens are reared from different (unrelated) hygienic colonies each year. ‘Daughter-queens’ from inseminated queen are mated in areas where the surrounding drones are from hygienic colonies. These are not only some of the best queens in the UK they are some of the most placid and productive bees you will ever handle!
GONE are the days where you have to reserve weeks in a advance to receive a queen! All our queens available to you before 1pm the next day (even Saturdays*) from April - September (when in stock & ordered before 8am) using Royal Mail Special Delivery parcels (you are also welcome to collect from our base in Cheltenham at a pre arranged time).
WE DO NOT SEND QUEENS OUT OF THE UK.
PLEASE REMEMBER THE CUT OFF FOR DISPATCH IS 8AM, ANY ORDERS AFTER MAY BE POSTED THE FOLLOWING WORKING DAY.
SATURDAY DELIVERY QUEENS MUST BE ORDERED AND PAID FOR BEFORE FRIDAY 8AM TO SECURE A MORNING DISPATCH.
