We hope this message finds you well. It is with a heavy heart that we bring you this announcement regarding our 2 in 1 Poly Hives. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we must regrettably discontinue this product for the foreseeable future.
A Unique Manufacturing Process
At BS Honey Bees Ltd, we take immense pride in the quality and innovation of our beekeeping equipment. Our 2 in 1 Poly Hives have been a testament to our commitment to providing beekeepers with the best tools possible. These hives were crafted using a unique moulding method that set them apart in the industry. However, it is precisely this uniqueness that has posed an insurmountable challenge in the wake of recent events.
Factory Liquidation in Cheltenham
The heart of the matter lies in our factory located in Cheltenham, where these hives were meticulously manufactured. Unfortunately, our Cheltenham factory has recently gone into liquidation, leaving us in a difficult position. While we explored various avenues to find a suitable alternative supplier, we encountered a significant hurdle: the uncommon moulding process used for our 2 in 1 Poly Hives.
No Viable Replacement
The method used to create our 2 in 1 Poly Hives is not widely employed within the industry, making it exceptionally challenging to find another UK-based manufacturer capable of continuing this process. We understand how disappointing this news is, and we share in your frustration. After years of dedicated work to develop this product, this situation is disheartening for us as well.
Poly Nucs Remain Available
In this challenging time, we want to assure you that our 2 in 1 Poly Nucs remain unaffected. These Poly Nucs are produced through a different moulding method and originate from a separate factory. We will continue to supply these Poly Nucs, ensuring that you have access to the essential equipment you need for your beekeeping journey.
Moving Forward
As we navigate this unfortunate turn of events, we remain committed to providing you with the highest quality beekeeping equipment and resources. While we must bid farewell to our 2 in 1 Poly Hives for now, we will continue to explore new avenues for innovation and improvement within the beekeeping industry.
